We are all about downsizing right?

Well let's combine the job of janator and security guard together.

A janitor will clean but at a flip of a name tag can switch to being a security staff in an instant. This tag flip will change depending on the time of day, and the ratio between security:janator needed.

And hey, a janitor is somewhat already equipped to be a security guard. They already have a walkie-talkie, just need to learn the art of broomstick fighting.

Having done both jobs it seems to me that only in certain cases will the result be satisfactory. A janitor cleaning the bathrooms will not quickly notice the cash register leaving the building. A security guard in uniform emptying waste baskets might scare the staff thinking "he's looking for drugs". A security guard checking for id can't leave to do other tasks.

Seems like this might work well for someplace that has guards at night. It might relieve the boredom for the guards. Maybe they could monitor security cameras with a wearable display.

I see 'Janator' and think 'Skeletor.'
