h a l f b a k e r yIncidentally, why isn't "spacecraft" another word for "interior design"?

All scratch cards produce a certain amount of dust, which is basically a nuisance to be brushed to the one side, but Scratch And Sniff Lottery Card has a hidden feature..... the dust produced by this card is "active".
For most cards the dust is harmless and inert, but for one in a thousand scratchings
the dust is pure cocaine.
Let me remind those appalled by this idea, that cocaine used to be legal and is regularly snorted by millions who create and fuel its criminality.
It's still a fiendish idea and I'm not really defending it, but it's in my head and it's definitely halfbaked. Other uses for the dust may be possible of course, but who wants to be sensible?

So the other 999 times the scratcher will be inhaling a gray-dyed
plasticy material. Possibly harmful. |

It could be anthrax.... Russian Roulette Card |
|
|
Some could have a layer of Nitrogen Triiodide beneath the grey stuff |
|
|
//Why not business:lottery?// Because its really
more about energy storage and release than the
lottery. |
|
|
Functionally, the user experience (swiping at a surface
then holding it to one's face in hope of feeling good)
strongly resembles that of a smartphone. |
|
|
Whilst it is a very halfbaked invention, Im not
going to vote either way for this because in a way
it is very cruel to people who have had addictions.
Serious. |
|
|
//it is very cruel to people who have had
addictions//It's true, because the scratch cards are
addictive too, so it's double trouble. Perhaps the
inclusion of the one in a thousand Russian roulette
anthrax card would act as a suitable deterrent, or
perhaps it magnifies the fiendishness? Where is
8th, as I think he would like it. |

Hey I am all for mocking people as needed. Sorry
but this one was too close to home, as I have been
through too much pain and agony from friends and
family that have had drug addictions. |
|
|
[xen] You are also right about the gambling
addictions as I have a friend with a touch of that
also. I love most of your ideas and this would have
been OK if I hadnt been touched personally by
this. I didnt Fishbone! |

I too have friends who died from addiction. Some
were directly caused. One got aids. One was killed
in a car accident when he was out of his tree.
Another was battered by paramilitaries and was
never the same afterwards, but the idea is still the
idea, and I can do nothing about having it. |
|
|
Im not arguing the idea, but is was my son-in-law
who died, which I will never get over. |
|
|
So sorry to hear that. I would simply legalise all
drugs and in so doing bring them under
government regulations, like alcohol which is
another drug anyway. Legalistion would remove
99% of the criminality that is now in total control. |

thank you
obviously his own stupidity. you know
ones perspective changes due to time and
circumstances. I might have burned this idea in the
80s |
|
|
Of course I also offer the "Scratch and Stiff" Viagra
version as well. |
|
|
"Thats the smell of money." |
|
|
Could've been just as good of an idea if it were just
peppermint-scented. |
|
|
This former addict was not offended, but have compassion for
xandram's life experience as well. Still love the idea, but with
due honor to those who have lost their lives to a substance. |

There are hundreds of ideas on the HB tha are connected somehow with death, injury and other misfortunes. The intention to cause actual harm is seldom intended. I just noticed that "scratch off" panels produce a powder and speculated as to what idiotic purpose that it might serve. |
