Based on a recent breakthrough in heat sensing technology (see link), this would be a simple box that you hold up to a person's face (about 3 to 7 feet away, let's say). It then proceeds to flash the word "XENU" 3 times, and watches for an appropriate temperature change around their eyes. (Edit: Just in case some of you don't follow, it would then display a reading to you to let you determine whether the person tested is a Scientologist or not.)

Useful for:

*Avoiding psycho cult nutbags

*Hanging on to your wallet

*Finding out if the phrase "Can I hold on to your cans?" will get you a slap in the face or not

*Getting a good role in a movie

You can't get rid of it - where would I post my ideas about alternative military personnel?

This can be done now, with a minimum of technology, if you are a good judge of body language and have XENU flashcard to hold up to suspects.
