Scented bubblewrap

(inspired by a [bigsleep] annotation)

Bubblewrap, in which each bubble is filled with a different kind of scented air (e.g., lemon, vanilla, creosote, aniseed, paint, burnt plastic, gin, ...). Hours of fun identifying them as you pop the bubbles and more profits for bubblewrap companies as this will discourage reuse of bubblewrap.

       Scotch egg fart.

But to expand upon my annotation above, the bubble wrap could, whne popped in numerical order, take the popper on an olfactory journey of the supplier's devising. One of the stops along the way is inevitably the point at which a scotch egg munching port official stamps the containerload through and has a celebratory much into his comestible, scotch egg fart being in my ideal version of this product the nasal narrative shorthand for arrival in this territory.

Might make an interesting way to smuggle drugs.

[+] Remember those school presentations with photo slides and an LP record to go along with them ? Play the record and it would tell you when to switch sides, between narrative sections. This could accompany movies and such.

[I was all set, mfd-hatchet in hand, but mine is more candles and ommm type of thing]

[+] Lots of potential spinoffs for this.

The board game aspect has at least two distinct variants to work on (stinky or aromatic).

Food that smells good could perhaps be scent-simulated and advertised in ways that are difficult to resist, too.

And then there's a new life waiting for the mechanically driven movie: the scent track!

I'll leave someone else to show how it could put the profit back in porn.

Which means. As JP Donleavy may once have said. I've added nothing more than a me-too.

       To what's already been said.

       Manufacturing process could be challenging.

When you've gone the limit with popping, use individual potholder-sized scraps as urinal spatter prevention mats.

Nobody set a limit on reuse so I'm not going to.

Wow, I missed this. Perfectly half-baked. Divine. I would spend hours unwrapping things just to see what smell I'd get.

Aww, definitely was half-baked. Good job FT!

       //The board game aspect

One game back in the 1980's came with a scratch and sniff card. "Leather Goddesses of Phobos", from memory.
