With ice blue eyes that made kings and queens step aside, he took in his square, chiseled jaw, studying the perfect five o'clock shadow of his beard. Barry Manilow was crooning an inventory of songs he had written on the radio. Slipping on his Ray-bans on he said quietly in a deep, Earl Jones-like voice, "Showtime." Grabbing the package that lay on the seat next him, he pushed opened the car door of his 5.0 GT Mustang, which was decked out with tinted windows, spoilers, and all the flash that money could buy.

Immediately the radio shut off and after a slight pause the opening riff from 'Bad To The Bone' ripped through the night air coming from the specially installed speakers attached to the undercarriage of the car. Tossing his unlit cigarette (trying to quit, after all) onto the macadam, he ground it with the heel of his impeccably shined Durangoes. Slamming the door behind him, the music continued undiminished, allowing the Scene Setter (Macho Man Edition) to complete its job.

He walked away, assured of the fact that everyone else knew that he truly was the coolest, badassest dude there. The light from the neon tubes lining the air-scoops reflected off his Ray-Bans and Dominoes Pizza Delivery uniform in a way that made old women blush and young women squeal. After a few steps away from the car the Scene Setter slowly faded the music to nothing, resetting itself to do it again every time he left his car.

Also available in different styles: Gansta, Urban Cowboy, and Disco Mama

On the day I was born, the bakers all gathered 'round
And they gazed in wide wonder, at the bun they had found
Mistress Jutta spoke up, and she said leave this one alone
She could tell right away, that I was a troll to the bone
Troll to the bone
Troll to the bone
T-T-T-T-Troll to the bone

I think there is a decent idea lurking in here.... but it's currently neither dark or daft enough for my taste, so remaining neutral.
