Scabbed Twinkie
An edible scab atop a Twinkie-like, ooze-filled, cupcake-shaped treat | |
Who doesn't like picking at scabs? Nobody, that's who.
I propose a Twinkie-like snack, in more of a cupcake shape. It
would be filled with some disgusting ooze (to attract kids), such
as
a runny strawberry and lime jelly.
The best part of this vile treat would be a perfectly simulated,
blood red, sugary scab. Kids could crack it in two, peel it off,
nibble it slowly, and so forth - inevitably leading to a big, gross
mess (which, of course, is cool!)
Yum, and perfect for Halloween.

Yuck! This is so disgusting it would probably work. I love picking at scabs, I love picking at food. Why not? And instead of a pure fruit filling, top the fruit filling with a squirt of some vanilla/banana pudding or frosting to simulate oozing pus. |

*erk* - Edging to gross-out |
|
|
The strawberry filling I suggested was supposed to emulate
blood, lime to make it taste more interesting. I don't think I
could eat something with fake pus in it, though. |
|
|
The idea is *supposed* to be gross, but not disturbing. I was
watching a show on TV which featured lollipops with
mealworm centers - that is disturbing. |

The Queezy Bake oven and Creepy Crawlers and so forth are
popular kids' toys, so why couldn't this be? |

|
Yes, and how about scab-flavored bacon? |

With some nice licorice flavored hairs to pluck out of it, too. |
