I don't know about you, but there's nothing I enjoy more during my morning breakfast at home or at the local restaurant than when I eat sausage links drenched in maple syrup. There's something unique about the salty meaty flavor mixed with the pure sweetness of maple syrup. When I first heard of this
odd idea, I cringed, but upon trying it, I'm hooked for life, along with my ketchup and eggs.
What I'm proposing therefore is to have similar to the food product, "cheese and crackers," packages of Sausage 'N Syrup. Like cheese/crackers, it will be in a plastic container with two compartments. It will be microwavable (optional) and you just tear off the top film, dip the pig by products into the syrup, and Enjoy.
Selling the combo in one package will curb any mess especially on those travel trips and packaged lunches for the children.

There are similar products out there so i declare this idea semi-baked, but undeniably delicious! How does a croissant sound? |

How about pig-in-a-blanket self-contained meals with syrup injected into the sausage? |

(By the way, I whole-hoggedly agree about sausage and syrup, though not ketchup and eggs.) |

Well, I did once spill some root beer on my fries and found the result rather palatable (shades of those "You got your chocolate in my peanut butter" Reese's commercials). I think the cuillinary success probably depends on the types of root beer and fries involved, but with the particular types at that cafeteria I found the result quite pleasing. |

I voted against, but only on the basis that im a diehard patty fan. |

Once, someone I knew spilled root beer into a pizza while he was making it. It actually turned out tasty. |

McDonald's McGriddles breakfast sandwiches come with sausage patties on maple syrup flavored pancake-like biscuits. |
