A 150 decibel clock built like a Rubik's cube (albeit simpler) would require the sleeper to solve the damn puzzle (around 20 seconds) for it to shut the hell up. Resets itself and the puzzle automatically.

       I'd Probably run around like a C List celeb worrying about their new dress before throwing it a Looooooooong way out of the window, if this is designed as a wake up call then you get a smelly fish. If however you decide its best used as a torture device, have a bready croissant.
