A friend of mine sketched out this idea, but i think it's a good one.

A roll-on-deoderant that smells of grass.

Okay, the name obviously preceded the idea, but grass does smell nice and clean, no?

Roll-on perfumes are quite Baked, as are perfumes that smell of grass. Summer's here, btw. 78F in NYC today, 80F tomorrow. That's about as warm as it ever gets in Britain, right?
DrCurry, Apr 15 2003

       pretty much.
BrianMaiden, Apr 15 2003

I think you'd have a hard time selling a roll-on NYC summer smell.
snarfyguy, Apr 15 2003

       ;) Eau de rotten meat.
DrCurry, Apr 15 2003

Better than eau de toilette, I suppose
Parvenu, Apr 15 2003

       that sweet, sweet scent.
Snafu, Apr 15 2003

I expected Curry to vote against this on the basis that it prevents people from going outside and rolling around in real fresh-cut grass.

That's because you're a black-hearted crabapple who pigeon-holes people. When did I ever do the same thing twice?

       //you're a black-hearted crabapple who pigeon-holes people//
Into the 'black-hearted crabapple' pigeon-hole?

Try and bottle the scent of the indian guy who tried to sell me a hot dog that looked 3 weeks old in the un- air conditioned, New York city convenience store.

       Roll in grass.

What's that scent component that stops men mid-stride, leaving bewildered and in lust long before he spots the woman wearing it?

Whatever it is, it doesn't smell like fresh-mown grass.
FloridaManatee, Apr 17 2003

       Freshly minted 50-dollar bills?
Cedar Park, Apr 17 2003

       Fresh-baked croissants?
Canuck, Apr 17 2003

Hmm, barbecued flying fox in mango sauce. Does it taste like chicken?
Canuck, Apr 17 2003

       And get sued for hayfever?

[theThinker] Half empty?/Half full? What is your happiest summer scented memory?
thecat, Jul 11 2003

Phosgene gas smells like freshly cut summer lawns. It'd make a killer perfume.
