You'd get the stickers and layout for the particular step. Put them in place, then starting out with the treadmill going very slowly, simply follow the numbered foot guides, crossing feet, stepping side to side, kicking a leg up etc.
You'd have some shaped like the heel and the toe as well, all numbered
in sequence. Left would be green and right would be blue for quick visualization.
As you get better, increase the speed. Once you've memorized the steps, do it without the treadmill.
Sure would make treadmill workouts more interesting eh?

Would it work if you clamped your feet into 3-axis actuators which moved them into the correct position for you? That way you could spend 10 hours a day at your desk with your feet learning the movements. On the train home from the office you would just carry on dancing dancing dancing unable to stop. |
