A proper halfbaked idea! Chew on this croissant fragment. |
It hit the ship forwards didn't it? Either way, someone
commands fewer submarines than they used to. |
This entire incident is worrying. According to the
news, "Initial indications are the merchant vessel
has not sustained damage", whereas the sub is going
to take some serious panel-beating. |
It strikes me that we ought to find out what they
build trawlers out of, and see if we can't use it to
make our new Trident subs. |

// they are hiding them underwater. // |

The swine ... that's cheating. Just goes to show that you can't trust foreigners. |
No doubt the french employ the same scurvy trick ... |
People in ships and submarines should be more
careful when they open the doors. |
Surely rear vision cameras are cheap and plentiful?
Or even proximity warning, using something, like, oh
I don't know, perhaps that newfangled sonar I keep
hearing about? |

You Brits will soon be able to hide subs "underwater" as well, by
slipping them into the un-used "Chunnel". |

Hmm, that would be a novel way to attack the French,
some kind of collapsible conning tower, for when in the
tunnel... |

I wonder as to whether Noah's ark had wing mirrors. |

I'm wondering how the sonar is going to operate when the
subs traverse France. Maybe just get some trained
bats? |

1. There weren't any supermarket car parks
2. There weren't any other vehicles.
3. Anyway, it probably did*, because of the bling factor. |

[+] seems to happen lots : typing "submarine trawler" into Google produced plenty of fodder. |
That's an HB post, right there ... a huge (nuclear powered) submersible vessel with a retractable "gaping maw" tens of metres across that funnels fish in to a central aperture, sorts them by size and species, and releases unharmed all the unwanted ones. |
A submarine trawler would probably manage to
collide with itself. |
That's a good trick if you can pull it off .... |
