I have a rolltop desk in my home office, and wouldn't change it for the world. The problem is that the chair opening is relatively narrow and only accommodates "arm-less" chairs.

I have found most of these chairs (when you can even find them) to be cheap and uncomfortable. I propose a well made, leather, desk chair that has retractable arms. The arms would be spring loaded and when not in use would retract under the seat of the chair out of the way.
