I propose a window-ledge and siding system consisting of eight moving inside-outside shutters. The shutters would blend with the interior and exterior of the house to partially cover a large window, changing its apparent shape. Two coverings on each side, one curved, one straight. To make a triangle, tilt two side covers. To make a half-circle, move down the top curved cover. Many shapes are possible.

Bonus: electrically cycle or change shapes at random for a really cool effect.
Bonus 2: More sun in the winter.
Bonus 3: More or less ambient light and privacy as you like.
Bonus 4: extra protection for the window by closing all shutters.
