Ants and rats can eat through normal caulk that is protecting the home or business from invasion by closing intrusions.
The idea is to embed caulk with rat/mouse and insect repellent and/or possibly insecticides/rat poison to keep them out. Natural ingredients, such as hot pepper extract or cinnamon
could be used, as well.
