It seems almost inveitable now that whenever a hugely popular film comes out, someone who's already seen it will attempt to ruin it for you during the showing, often by turning to their friend and saying "I never would have guessed that ------- happens".
A solution to this problem comes in the form
of a Repeat Showing Screen. Whenever a hugely anticipated film (such as Star Wars Episode -- , Jurassic Park -- and Jaws -- etc.) comes out, one screen in every cinema is reserved for people who have already seen said film. While in the Repeat Showing Screen viewers can ruin the ending unlimited times without fear of attack, and can discuss various elements with other Repeat Viewers in peace.
When buying tickets, the customer is asked whether they have seen the film before, and allocated a screen accordingly. Internet booking would feature a tick box.
Furthermore, tickets for the Repeat Showing Screen would be cheaper, to encourage people to see the film again.

I like the idea, but I think you'd have little punks purposely going into the opposite theatre just to ruin it for others. |
There's always those who ruin it for everyone else, although, the cheaper price would discourage them. |
Finally, I can see The Rocky Horror Picture Show in peace! |

Ah, but you already saw it - you're stuck in the Repeat Showing Room. |

Maybe just call them 'Screen for those who don't mind it being spoiled' and 'Screen for those who want to be surprised etc.' |
Actually, make the 'Screen for those who don't mind it being spoiled' theatre MORE expensive. And put comfortable rotating chairs in it, so that they can all tell each other things like "you'll love this part", and "Oh, you just wait", or "it's too bad she dies at the end". Maybe even a *movie pause* button on all seats, in case a majority decided it was time to stop and dicuss... |

sorry - "time to stop and discuss..." |

I can't remember ever seeing the same film twice at the cinema. |
Wow. Not even the Spongebob Squarepants Movie? |
that does not even deserve an answer |
wouldn't have paid money to see it the first time. |
fishy for the very thought. |
The only movie I can recall ever watching twice in the cinema is Shrek 2, and only because I didn't have to pay the second time. Surely this would require that more screens be devoted to showing blockbusters when they come out. This would force cinemas to expand which would force the prices of tickets up, driving many to only watch a movie once for financial reasons. |

Hmmm, interesting. Apparently you would get your wish indirectly anyway. But then there would be many mostly empty repeat showing screens. |
