A remote control plane with an added capability to light and release fireworks in midair, this would be wonderful for any festive holiday involving fireworks. A fun way to set off fireworks, or use the fireworks from the link.

You could also have suberb dogfights using the rockets to attack other planes.

Hmmmm..... That could be a part of this idea.

Yes. It is now.

It would be fun to have the remote, but there would be a huge risk for the spectators.

Give'em a helmet. Or make them bring their own.

They can watch from behind safety screens.

       Needs ack-ack fireworks as well.

The safety aspect would kill the idea in the West. But who says it has to be sold here? I reckon there's plenty of oriental fellahs would be up for this and they've barely heard of health and safety. Witness the Taiwanese fireworks festival in the link where they deliberately shoot hundreds of rockets into the crowd. Everyone's equipped with leather jackets and helmets, but that's only because they all ride mopeds.

This idea's a winner in the right market.

Small remote controlled relay, a 9v battery and some nichrome wire. A remote airplane and a batch of bottle rockets with the stick taped under the wings missile style. Bakeable by anyone with some electronics know-how (and access to fireworks).

I remember watching a Kids film, where the remote airplane fired darts, fireworks would have been awesome!

I might be wrong here, but my addled memory is reporting that as an episode of an iconic (be that good or bad...) Australian series called My Secret Valley. Those aussies amongst us will remember the theme song was to the tune of Waltzing Matilda (I know a valley, I know a valley, My Secret Valley the world has to see.....)

[S-Note] - you're not an aussie, are you?

Nope not an Aussie, however as a kid we did get a lot of Aussie TV in the UK - so may well be right.
