ReminderMilk
Hate Calenders? Not lactose intolerant? Excellent! | |
One of my biggest problems in the morning is
remembering
what I have to do that day and getting all of the things
that I
will need prepared and in front of me. Calenders and
planners are useful for that sort of thing, but I always
forget
to check them, as I bet many people do. One thing,
however,
that is viewed, handled, etc almost every morning in
almost
every home is the carton of milk. I propose milk
manufacturers begin to leave large areas of blank space
on
their milk storage containers on which various family
members can write notes, dates, reminders, etc. that
they
will see as they prepare their morning cereal, coffee,
etc.

I read this as ReindeerMilk. Probably because I
haven't had my caffeine jolt yet. But I'm awake
enough to say this; Isn't 3/4 of the milk carton
(plastic jug), blank already and wouldn't you just
need a Sharpee Marking Pen sitting next to the
fridge to accomplish the same thing? Not sure bout
this one, ps. |

In a marketing climate where oddly colored foods can
be marketed to children for two dollars more, I'm
pretty sure that, while this may not be necessary, it
can be done and will probably return profit. |

[21 Quest] No, but see above. |

//leave large areas of blank space on their milk storage
containers// Not permitted. All large areas of blank space
everywhere must be filled with advertising. |

We definitely have a cultural milk holder gap here. In the US we have
big honking plastic white jugs of milk. UK seems to have beautiful, curvaceous, creamy white bottles. Therein lies the difference.
Soooooo while reindeermilk may indeed taste better coming from a
bottle, we here in the US must suffer in silence. Hope this helps to
clarify the issue. |

The idea remains good though - write reminders on your milk. |

I also get milk delivered in bottles too, by a milkman. The only difference between how this worked when I was a child and how this works now is that when I was a child you could get unpasteurised milk delivered to the door in bottles (this is now illegal), and now the ordering of how many bottles you want and the payment is done on the internet, rather than with a scribbled note and a cheque stuck in the top of an 'empty'. |
|
|
See link for their fancy website. I miss the delivery of unpasteurised milk - it was not homogenised either, so, in the Spring, the top third of the bottle was thick yellow cream, which you had to free up with a knife stuck into the bottle so that you could get the milk out... |
