Undercapitalization is one of the major factors preventing
businesses in Europe and the US from expanding rapidly to
meet demand as the economy starts to recover. This can
turn
a boom-and-bust cycle into a bust-and-bust one, where
companies cannot pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
I
suggest, therefore, that this problem be addressed.
iTunes
becomes Itunes, eBay becomes Ebay, and so forth. Far
better.

This kind of manufacturing just brings down the ultimate standard of living of everyone, so disincentivise it. Direct union control over workers rights issues might do less harm than good here, even. |

I'm not convinced your scheme is going to do as much
to increase
capitalization as you'd hoped. Vis-à-vis the examples
you gave,
current reports indicate a net capitalization of
between 16.67% and
25%, with the former tending towards the lower end of
this range
and the latter towards the higher end. It's nearly
impossible to
predict all of the effects that implementing such a
plan would
have, of course, but a cumulative frequency analysis
would seem
to indicate a marginal gain in capitalization of at most
20
parts per
thousand, with a 2% margin of error. |

What we need is a third case. Hypercapitals.
These are letters that are capitals only in the third
dimension. |

Of course that brings on the question of the
proper exploration and denotion of N dimensions
in letter case. 4-dimensional letters would be so
much more expressive than 3, which have much
more potential than flat typfaces. Given enough
dimensions to reserve for descriptive capacity,
one word could be worth a thousand pictures. |

built out of ASCII stacks of lower or mixed-case
letters, perhaps nested, telling entire stories in
