Radioactive food preparer

My idea would allow one to eat food raw without cooking if one would chose to do so. This would be good for sushi and other items that are eatin rare or raw. It would simply put radiation on the food to kill all germs in the food but not enough radiation to leave food radioactive. UV light also kills bacteria and could be used to kill surface bacteria and diseases on the food before 1 you eat it or 2 cook it to insure the food is thoroughly cooked. I believe this would eliminate food posioning and other problems. This system could also be used for pasteurizing milk because it wouldn't change the natural flavor of the milk and make milk taste better.

Waugsqueke- This is new because unlike regular cooking radioactive rays sent to the food would kill life forms but would not actually "cook" the food, so the foods chemistry would not change allowing it to be safe to eat raw. I love to eat raw cookies made with eggs and many things that aren't safe like sushi to eat just it would be safer if it was radiated with radiation to kill anything in it.
