Rabbit Mower

Let nature mow the lawn.

My backyard never ceases to have rabbits chomping down on my lawn. So I figure why mow the lawn myself when these critters seem more than willing to do the job. A harness or collar and rope tethered to a stake would ensure that the right parts of the lawn get eaten. The droppings they leave would fertilize the lawn.

Wild rabbits in the US, such as the cottontail and jack rabbit, are not of the genus Oryctolagus and are not susceptible.

I used to have a pet rabbit and it was great for mowing the lawn....but then one day it got eaten by my dog. The rabbit put up a good fight judging by the scratches all over my dog but it wasn't enought. Damn you for bringing up such memories *Runs out of the room sobbing*

should that be mower in the title or am I missing something?

       "Have you fed the rabbits?"
"Mower or less."

Since this is about mowing rabbits it should read Rabbit Moaner.

Or...instead of a leash, just set up an underground wire perimeter and give each member of your bunny herd its very own shock collar. Imagine the fun you could have watching your bunnies 'dance' around the backyard as they learn their boundaries!

**Beware: Not to be used on 'Fierce Beasts' such as are found in Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail! You do NOT want to invoke the rath of the Beast.(Each kit comes complete with complementary Holy Handgrenade)**

Correction: The title should now more suitably reflect the idea. Thanks

No not really, I clicked on it hoping for something to mow rabbits with.

This isn't exactly a new idea though, I've seen goats and sheep used exactly how you describe.

Yeah, they're plug-n-go right out of the box.
