PARIS: The House of Farmers autumn collection shows its still on the couture-ing edge of fashion. Central to the line are creations adorned with punk fringe. Like buckskinned squaws in an electrical storm, the models flaunted fringe that strives outward and upward.
The fringe strands are thin,
inflated, polyethylene tubes, and the pressure is maintained and varied with heel insert pumps. A walk to the water cooler or dance floor is sufficient to keep these outstanding ensembles erect.
Take a deep breath and click here.

<Sting> Don't stand so close to me.... </Sting> |

Oh god that's bad. Please make it stop. |
|

Wow! She's HOT! I wanna be just like HER! |
|
|
No, seriously, [FarmerJohn], you are wasted on the airline industry. Completely wasted. The fashion industry NEEDS you. Now. |

Modern day Annie Oakleys and Winona Judds will be proud to be seen in one of these ensembles. I was rather hoping, though, when FJ spoke of "flaunted fringe" that there was going to be a "flirty skirt" in the collection. |

//Like buckskinned squaws in an electrical storm// Hehehe! - And *still* laughing! |

Can you make my hair do that? -- oh wait my hair is doing
that... |
|
|
Yeah, but who's gonna ask her to dance? You wouldn't approach a cat that looked that way. |

"Punk Fridge" exists as an idea here, [UB]. Posted by [Kreuner] a couple of days ago. |

You know how annoying it is when you have one little piece of hair or string tickling your face, neck, arm, etc. that you can't seem to find and get rid of? No worries! You'll be too busy and distracted trying to fend off the the punk fringe of the person standing next to you on the subway. |

Yeh, we just did a search for "sketch" and [Farmerjohn]. So much fun! This idea is fine. Thin polyethyelen tubes - maybe. I think boar bristle or maybe long blond palmyra as is used in industrial brooms. Didn't you bake up a fashionable suit where the lapels extend up and over, becoming winglike? Something like that! |
|
|
The thing is that it is appended to a pretty conservative business suit. It needs to be haute haute couture baby. The fabulous stuff. I can just picture the model flouncing down the catwalk, stiff punk fringe bobbing menacingly. Or on stage with the microphone! |

[FJ], if you should decide to do another rendition as above, same model please. |

If it was a buckskinned airline employee, preferably in a plane during an electrical storm, it would be much funnier. |
