Men, and women, in unusual costumes, grappling with each other in large, shallow vats of peculiarly slippery liquid, preventing effective grips and holds.

Add a little overacting, lots of shouting and a substantial marketing budget and you'll be on TV, in your low friction unitard before you know it, entertaining the great unwashed.

OR

A small, highly trained, elite force of career soldiers of Other Ranks**, armed with weapons loaded with Glaser rounds and equipped with any number of wickedly sharp blades, all coated with polytetrafluoroethylene, so they slip in *real easy* when you press them up against the undesirable miscreant you need to remove.

**Even their clothing is coated with the stuff, so they always look immaculately clean and professional, as any good Warrant Officer should. This is done almost solely to make the "Ruperts" feel inadequate about themselves.

Annotation:

Substantially less interesting than we had hoped from the title.

       Happy now?

       Better.

You missed an epic argument on the subject a few weeks ago. There may still be some residual soreness from that.

"Captain, we have Teflons uncloaking off our port at 7000 meters!"
"Red Alert!"

Oh, didn't know the history, [Alter].

I kept the Borg in fighting shape for you.

       Teflons. The opposite of Klingons?

       [+] ^.

The phrase "slipperier than a Teflon-coated armadillo" comes to mind for some reason.

Can't say it's something I'd thought, until reading that annotation, [FT].

I could get used to watching female Teflon wrestling.

Glaser rounds would be a violation of the Geneva conventions. Not sure about Teflon-coated FMJ rounds.
