Why don't they sell chocolate bars made in the shape of presidents? Each could have a different center: nuget, caramel, crispy, marshmellow (for Jimmy Carter of course), And some could be milk chocolate. They could come with a brief synopsis of each presidents Challenges and Accomplishments. In an
election year we could have two candidate bars and it would be a big deal to see who got to stay.
Not happy with the economy, bite the head off your Chocolate President.
I wonder if the Secret Service would have a problem with this?

//Why don't they sell chocolate bars made in the shape of presidents?// |

Why stop at the U.S. Presidents? Famous, historical heads of state, political and influential figures would be more eductaional: Napoleon, Genghis Khan, Billy the Kid, So-crates. etc. |
George the Selected would be a stale carob chip. Clinton would be chock full of mixed nuts George the Elected would be filled with something kind of bitter and sinister, but not all bad, maybe espresso ganache. Reagan would be a hollow chocolate bunny. I could go on. |
Nit: in terms of human beings, there were only 42 U.S. Presidents so far. (Grover Cleveland, who served two non-consecutive terms in 1885-89 and 1893-97, is often counted twice.) |
They say that one man out of 42 is a transvestite. Which president do you think it was? |
The national airport in Washington DC had a lot of pseudo-political chocolates for sale. I think there were some president-pictures on some wrappers, but I'm not sure. |
I'm definitely proposing chocolate statuettes, not just candy bars named after the Presidents. It's no fun if you can't bite their heads off, or melt them in a microwave, or .... |

\\It's no fun if you can't bite their heads off, or melt them in a microwave\\ Well that got my vote [+]. Welcome to the Halfbakery. |

I'd like to see collectible chocolates in the shapes of other past governmental symbols...like the six constitutions of France, and one bar for each time Mao Ze Tung (don't know if I'm spelling this right)'s name is spelled differently. |

Most of you seem to like this idea, so does anyone have an idea as to where I should pitch it? Nestle or Hershey? I don't have the time or resources to develop it myself. |
Have any of the ideas on halfbakery become reality? |
you could take a look at the links on the profile page of [2 fries shy of a happy meal]. Pitch it to milka. |
Um, those links are just some funky sites I stumbled across and have nothing to do with ideas that have made it into the real world [zeno], but by all means, take a look if it strikes your fancy. |

Since Adam was a boy, the Compañía Nacional de Chocolates in Colombia has been shipping ~7x4cm collectible pictures with their smallest chocolate bar (and some of the medium-sized ones). On the back side of the pictures is some information regarding the subject (usually natural history). Kids collect them and, hopefully, learn something along the way. You could include some information relevant to these figures of note with the chocolate bars. "I am not a crook". |

I think that the internet was originally proposed on the Halbakery. |

We use to send ideas to each other with a spear and an atlatl way back when. Trebuchets were used when the annotations made the package too heavy. |
Kids today, they don't know how easy they have it. |
We used to dream of having an atlatl! We had faster than light hydrolic link powered by custard filled speed hump in middle o' road. Every day, we'd send message half an hour before it arrived... |
