Pre-turbocharger Tesla valves

On each exhaust port of a turbocharged engine, interpose a Tesla valve <link>, then manifold together into the turbo(s).

This will reduce back-pressure by preventing impulses from one cylinder impinging on another, and maintain a more even pressure on the turbine; a plenum may also be needed.

That is all.

       I'm voting bun for any use of the Tesla valve. Internal combustion engine augmentation, supercharged leaf blowers, paperweights. This is an underused design. And by underused, I'm not sure if this clever dohicky has ever found it's way into any practical application. A diode for fluid flow. Friggin' genius.

       I wonder whether a large Tesla valve would have a measurable effect on a crowd of hyperactive children, making them more likely to exit from one end than the other. I mean, in general, crowds of children don't behave much like fluids, because of herd behaviour, but the baffles would tend to disperse them and, perhaps, disrupt that herd behaviour.

       It will be necessary to liquefy them first, of course. Some additional water, emulsifiers and viscosity modifiers will no doubt be needed; this can be determined experimentally.   

       Do you envisaged a gravity feed, or a pressurized system ?

       No, I was innocently thinking about the ways in which they cannon around the place, bouncing off things, a *little* bit like gas molecules, and I was just wondering *how* like, exactly. But thank you for your kind suggestions.

       Even better. Dessicate them, grind them up, then convert them to plasma. A lot of energy will be neeeded, but then again it's in a good cause.   

       An orbital solution would be best. Solar energy and high vacuum will work fine for the dessication, then more solar energy to form the plasma.   

       Et Viola ! An exoatmospheric propulsion system using an otherwise wasted resource. Sheer brilliance.   

       How many cats do you think we can sneak in with the kids ?

       would a really lengthy tesla valve sort gases on mass? you could use it to prefileter exhaust to optimize the catalytic converter to make the catalytic converter more affordable becasue it got concentrated exhaust
