Portable Armrest

When your arms need a place to rest, and there's no chair in sight.

A set of 'arm rests' which mount around your shoulders (like a sling, or a yoke) and come up to your elbows. Place your arms on the rests, and viola... instant arm rests.

Adjustable, of course, for different arm lengths.

Perfect for resting against a tree, hanging out on the stoop, or sitting on an armrest-less chair.

ADDENDUM

==== To clarify, these will extend directly perpendicularly in front of body at a 90 degree angle, like a real arm rest (NOT crossing the body like a sling). You can select the upholstery based on many stylish options (leather, tapestery, wool, canvas) which is mounted to an extremely light yet durable plastic polymer. A (slightly heavier) polished wood and leather model would be available for the purists. ====

Of course you'd walk arround looking like you wound-up on the bad end of Mike Tyson ... welcome, [genevieve]

This has been around for years. It's called crossing your arms. When done properly, each arm acts as a sling for the other.

Surely this *is* just a sling - you're reinventing the wheel by calling it a banana and adding padding.

a sling is a semi-permanent arrangement for a purpose. I envisage this as a wonderful arrangement of pieces of padded wood joined with strings and pulleys to be used as and when... a picture would be nice.

I'm just amazed she spelled "viola" right. Musta been lurking! Welcome.

What I need is a portable footrest, when my feet are tired and there is no chair around. Could I mount that on my shoulder too?

look, I can spell violin, and cello.

Three men were planning to cross the desert. The first brought water, the second brought food and the third brought a car door. When asked why, he replied: "Well, when it gets hot, we can roll down the window."
