Personal size to envelope your lawn chair, shelter size to envelope your picnic table.

Come to think of it, I could use one of these on the water-add some styrofoam floats to envelope your paddleboat/canoe/kayak/etc.

Is this an idea for machine-washable lawn furniture or a just a laundry basket the size of a 'fridge?
Letsbuildafort, May 10 2006

Sounds perfect if you need to mail your outdoor furniture.

Actually, I have just one question: What?
half, May 10 2006

reserve your space at the pool. does it come with a padlock?

oh, its a sport - yeah, that will work.
po, May 10 2006

I think AH is using "envelope" to mean "enclose" .

If I understand correctly this is a collapsible laundry basket that can be expanded to any size desired up to two meters diameter by two meters high.

Now why this would be a good thing is beyond me, as is how it would be accomplished.
Galbinus_Caeli, May 10 2006

That would be "envelop" then? See how important spelling is in conveying these half baked ideas?

It seems that there are people out there who will seize every opportunity to feign misreading or misinterpreting anything and everything. Don't you just hate smart alecky people like that?

It's part of your charm, [half], and a big reason why we keep you around.

I'd like to see the explanation expanded or some kind of picture before I pass judgement. It's just a big mesh right now.
Canuck, May 10 2006

I stand corrected on my spelling, secure from the flies, mosquitoes, and bees. You men may not have ever seen a popopen mesh laundry basket, but really, I thought halfbakery was a society of those who can make leaps of logic without tedious explanation :-)
AH, May 10 2006

I can certainly see what this invention is. But what it is FOR escapes me. Is this so you can haul every scrap of cloth in the house down to the washeteria for a good scrubbing?
Galbinus_Caeli, May 10 2006

Picture yourself in a boat, on the backwaters of the Mississippi, the crappie are flying into your boat, to the tune of 10,000 mosquitoes humming around you. Now you pop open your popopen and envelop your boat in a fine mesh floating ever so lightly on the water's surface. Add a few tethers to the design and picture yourself canoeing the stillwaters, free from infestation.
AH, May 10 2006

So this isn't a laundry basket? It's a mosquito net? Perhaps you should edit your halfbakery idea to reflect that.
Galbinus_Caeli, May 10 2006

Why didn't you say *that* is your idea description? You want a mosquito net for a boat?

       I'll look for one.
xandram, May 10 2006

Are the openings in the mesh large? Or is the laundry basket large? I think this is maybe supposed to be some sort of mosquito tent, which makes it baked. But it's damned confusing, so I fishbone it. (Really, AH, it would help to write a bit more, and a lot better.)

see link for Frikon Pop up.

The title led me to believe this was some type of muffin....like PopOvers.
xandram, May 10 2006

Could this be the worst rendered idea ever? It has my vote.

Among other things, what does the title mean? What does the [sport] category mean?
Texticle, May 10 2006

Thanks, [Canuck]. I practiced at the feet of a master (and halfbaker). Though, I have for some time been under the impression that this constituted the entirety of my charm.
