Wouldn't it be so relaxing to hug a nice warm stuffed animal that had some real mass to it? A soothing teddy bear that you could cuddle with on a cold night just like curling up to a real bear.
I'm sure the innovative folks in the weighted blanket industry have optimized the production tools for
putting rocks in fabric. It would be so easy to pivot from sand to a proprietary mix of plutonium and lead beads. The final product would not be heavy per se, merely a reassuring heft to match the generated heat.
"Oh but the radiation!" you might say. Yes, that is the whole point. You would never need to rewarm or refill them. Your stuffed animal would always be pre-heated for you. Your bed could be warm forever.

Must look into proper shielding, kinda heavy even for a weighted plush. Perhaps design the heater assembly for a bedframe mount with a pumped oil umbilical to das teddy bear. |

[whatrock] lead pyjamas obviously |

hmmm... a lead thread lined radioactive emergency parka? For when you know sure as shit you gonna die from cold and this would let you die... less soon. |

"Three-dog night?"
"Nope, just one rabbit ... but there's a catch ..." |

I think I would feel distinctly uncomfortable in the vicinity of these plushies. Radioactive thermal generators exist but are... not ideal for maintaining an environment conducive to life. |

Well my goodness, that does throw a spanner into the works [link] doesn't it? But if the little triangle icon for ionizing radiation were prominently displayed, like on the stuffed animal's eyes, we could then proceed with design, sales and profit. |

[pocmloc] sold separately, obviously |
