Photoactivated Botox beauty treatment

Rather than just inject botox, the precise areas, as well as concentrations of botox could be customized with lasers

Link a photoactivation molecule, like a porphyrin, to the botox protein. Then after cosmetic injection, lasers can be used at 72 hour intervals to create the greatest beautification effect gradually while minimizing reduction of expression. The beauty chemical could be treated as a halftone, or an analog activation.

If ultra eentsy microparticles of FDA approved drug delivery polymer were used to deliver the botox, then one laser-activatable botox treatment could then last a decade or longer, as lasers would just release more botox when the person preferred to optimize appearance.

Another chemical version could be where the botox is deuterated, so it would respond only to rare laser light frequencies, reducing any risk from sunlight.

Continually readjustable dewrinkling and kind of face lift!

       Clostridium botulinus is an anaerobe, and the toxin oxidises very rapidly. Microencapsulation might offer a way round this, but you wouldn't want the active to be able to migrate away from the target tissue.

       // deuterated //

       How ? If the bacillus is exposed to significant levels of deuterium, it will die - deuterium is toxic. Neutron activation of the toxin after processing will smash up the molecules and inactivate it.

       I just read that e.coli are published as able to grow at 100% deuterium. So it is possible that successive cultures could produce fully deuterated botox protein.

       //Another chemical version could be where the botox is deuterated, so it would respond only to rare laser light frequencies,// Yes, but that's bollocks. What makes you think that deuterated botox would have "rare" absorbance peaks?

       We've already tried it. Ethyl methane sulfonate as an alkylating agent - a potent mutagen. It created a virus so lethal the subject was dead before he left the table ... But, uh, this ... all of this is academic. You were made as well as we could make you.
