Perfect hand drier

Fluidised sand to dry hands

There is a make of hospital bed (Clinitron) for extremely frail patients that uses a fluidised sand bed to float the patient on. The air blown sand absorbs fluids and other crud which sink to the bottom and get dessicated/ sterilised in the process. No bugs can grow in this environment.

Why not use a smaller, wash basin size fluidised bed to dry your hands: no paper towel waste, lower energy use than a hot air drier, cool concept. Gentle dermabrasion is thrown in for free too.

Interesting. Welcome, btw. This solution may not be suitable for cat-owners though.
