Pat McGroyne?
A tenuous revenue generating scheme and an excuse for more puns. Possibly. | |
At last, a commercial use for all those 'pun kings' out there - a directory of dubious-sounding (and baked) names which can be used by..um... circus recruitment agencies. Oh yes. A guy called Pat McGroyne? No way! A real, living person called Juan Kerr? Amazing! I for one would definitely pay b-i-g money
to see real people with comedy names...and I'm sure I'm not alone. A series of serious spin-off documentaries could be made outlining the heartache endured by those with such 'funny' monikers, such as 'The Trials and Tribulations of My Life as Hugh Jarce'. 'Owners' of these names could be rented out for guest appearances, and get paid by the hour, and those submitting potential names could be rewarded with a cut once the agency discovers someone with that name. A bit like bounty hunting, only with fewer Bounty Bars.

Actually, Pat McGroyne is one of the founders of Clan McGroyne. I should know, I'm married to another of the founders. The McGroynes were born at a pirate walk 21 years ago at Pennsic War. Along with Pat, there is Dustyn, Dragan,
Robin and Link. The Clan now boast hundreds, but only a few are called "family". |

Sincerely,
Euquilia McGroyne |

The funny thing is, I am married to Dustyn. Ivanna Marry McGroyne is the lady of Robin! To see more of actual McGroynes, visit us at:
