Paradoxal Venn Diagram

In a debate about how to best direct taxpayer funds to create education opportunities for disadvantaged youth while bolstering the economy in low income areas, the most expected disagreement will eventually look like this:

Debater A: "You're an asshole!"

Debater B: "No! You're the asshole!"

I'd propose this could be illustrated with a "Paradoxal Venn Diagram" where both parties, while having opposing viewpoints on WHO the asshole is, are in agreement that there IS an asshole on the stage, the disagreement only being who that asshole is.

So how would you apply this? Dunno, maybe the moderator says "Gentlemen, can we all at least agree that there is one asshole up there?" Then the two debaters could join together in calling the moderator an asshole.

Thusly progress can be made in communicating with each other about how to deal with the complex issues we all face.
