I'm no good at gift wrapping and I know there are a lot of others around like me. I would like a paint or spray on paper. Cellulose fibers with a binding agent drying real thick as a film. It would come in several colors to make patterns and have some glitter in it like fake snow from spray cans. Most
merchandize comes wrapped in plastic anyway these days so it should not be too hard to make it non-stick. A few items like books may still need an extra wrapper, but a thin shrink foil would do. With the right solvent (that's still an unknown) it can even be made recyclable. Toss the torn bits back into the can, add a little solvent and reuse, Playdooh style.

Didn't we just do wax dipping for the same purpose? And you can buy shrink wrap foil wrapping. |

(For myself, I happen to enjoy folding wrapping paper -with a little practice, you can get some fabulous effects without much extra effort.) |

Pastry for you, even if I do like to use the Sunday comics to wrap with....Old blueprints are fun also |

[lintkeeper2], that's nicely halfbaked, I had to give it some wax dipped bakeware right away. I guess you beat me. |

[o] I found that "Silly String" can make a real mess of things, in particular if you let it sit under the tree for a few days. |
|

I bought a can of "Sensible String" the other day. Refused to come out of the can. |

I think Cheez Whiz comes in a spray can. And it dries out nicely. Or you could press together individual cheese slices, then smear it on the present. |

//Cellulose fibers with a binding agent drying real thick as a film// That's paper mache. But this may be an uncommon use for it, with the possible exception of pinatas. |

I know more than one dog who couldn't resist eating the presents, no matter what the punishment, so only cat owners could use this. |
