Be the boss of the lake as you scatter and
terrorise other canoes with their flimsy
canvas sides and puny wooden strut
interiors.
Never worry about getting wet either as
you row away, snugly ensconced in your
water tight conning tower, with a
periscopic view of the world.
Clear floating
obstructions out of your
way
with your mini torpedoes, or blast
overhanging branches with your
powerful,
remote controlled deckgun.

I like the idea. It reminds me of this.

Nice drawing, but it doesn't feel right,
somehow. I'm not sure how to make
my point without seeming rude. But in
this case, I get the feeling that I'm
reading a pointer towards a clever and
amusing cartoon on someone's site,
rather than reading an idea and then
being referred to an illustration. |

|
I guess I'm saying that I would have
liked the idea to be in the writing more
than in the illustration. |
|
|
I thought the idea needed an illustration
to convey the iconic impact that would
otherwise not have been apparent with
a written description alone. Visual
imagery is important to me. |

Neat concept and illustration [+], but the angle of the oar looks a bit steep - might be easier to row if it enters at the base of the conning tower? |
|
|
//to convey the iconic impact that would
otherwise not have been apparent with a
written description alone.// I agree. But
my point was that the text on the HB was
more of a pointer towards a illustration
than an idea which was clarified by an
illustration. Keep the illustration but make
the text more descriptive. Anyway. |
