Explanation:

The novelty company "Shit Novelties And Gag Gifts" makes an anthropomorphic turd shaped novelty toy that takes a dump on your desk when you push the button. They're working on this feature which uses a mixture of commonly found household materials to make the faux feces.

The team leader behind the project is upset because the fake doodoo is of poor quality, much worse than their competitor's product and they're in danger of falling behind in the fast paced, lucrative, fake turd laying turd toy market.

I'm really looking forward to reviews of my limerick. I'm thinking they'll be really good.

       "Shit" or "the shit"?

       I'm not sure myself.

       Re the first link:

       Shit, shit shit shit shit.

Shit! (exclamation) that thing, device, whatever, shit, shit (verb) out some stinky or shit (adjective) shit (noun).

You know, I was feeling like this admittedly dumb post was a waste of time till I saw the poop machine. That thing took a very very long time to build, and somebody put that time into it.

Regardless of where this post falls, somewhere between shit and THE shit on that spectrum, it's nowhere near the wast of time of that linked poop machine.

       Re: third link.

       Hmm, I take that back.

The odd thing about the word "Limerick" is that the town of Limerick itself is actually an old Viking settlement. Sadly, this could be another case of a well-known "name" in Irish literature actually being Anglo-Saxon.

We'll find something else another day, but I'm all in on the doodoo analysis machine.

The meaning of this comment is left as an exercise to the reader:

I would also just like to point out that none of the limericks presented here have only one word in them. They all appear to have multiple words all the same as each other.
pocmloc, Nov 02 2021

What pocmloc said. Also, sninctown's 'limerick' only has 4 lines. Very poor effort I would say.

//They all appear to have multiple words all the same as each other.//

Hmm. But can one word have multiple meanings? Is buffalo the noun the same word as buffalo the verb?

       Guess not.

So let me change the meaning.

The guy in charge of the project is pissed so he starts swearing and yells "Shit!" 25 times. Keep in mind, he's also insane because he started a toy company called "Shit Novelties And Gag Gifts".

Shit shit shit shit shit Shit shit shit shit shit shit Shit shit shit shit Shit shit shit shit Shit shit shit shit shit shit.

So the new title of the idea should be "Guy yells shit 25 times"

(kicks back and waits for the buns to come a roooolin' in.)

I like writing. All those words and stuff. Then you put the little dots on it to show you're not talking any more. Like there. Oooh, and there again!
doctorremulac3, Nov 02 2021

Shucks, I was taught that its called profanity, and not to use it. So I don't. I live in a community that doesn't, and study in university classes that don't. And we feel good about it (about not using profanity). Makes us less aggressive, and, shucks, it gives the people around us a better feeling.

So tell me, am I getting it right?

       Whatever whatever whatever,
whatever whatever - whatever
whatever whatever,
whatever whatever...
whatever, whatever whatever.

(There once was a well known halfbaker,
who forgot that the old-fashioned breaker
is needed to break her
lines, for the sake, er,
of making a limerick shaker)

I grew up in the ghetto and did't go to school.

Ohh, there's one of those I stopped talking dots again!

       This is brilliant
