a unique timepiece that answers the age old question "how do you tell time with canola oil?"

I got this idea looking at balsamic vinegar in olive oil.  a tank of canola (rapeseed) oil (just because it's cheap), with a black box on top. in the box is water with a dark dye in it. the time is put into a computer program that regulates the numerous valves at the top of the oil tank, and every ten seconds, it spits out the time to the nearest minute, in water, like those fountains that write words. If anyone else knows what I'm talking about, let me know. a pump at the bottom takes the water back to the top. anyway, you could use different oils and different dyes to match the decor in your particular abode.
