       <- PS not my fishbone

Wait a minute - I just saw the category. Is this something that's just happened to you, [blissmiss] ? Should we worry?
pertinax, Nov 01 2006

       :-( Hang in there Blissy.
Shz, Nov 01 2006

I worry. I'm sure I don't understand, even if I think I do, but my emotions are splattered about it.
Zimmy, Nov 01 2006

<spends a quiet moment thinking and worrying about blissy>

Big hugs for you if this is about what I think it may be about.

I won't waste my breath with empty platitudes, just know we are thinking about you.

Check your old yahoo account, m'dear.

Ian, then then you know what I mean...thank gods. Cause I sure the hell don't.(Except the geese would have been leading the ducks, cause it's all about intimidation, and the luck of the draw, for ducks and gooses atleast so I thought.

Sleep walking, sleep eating, sleep computering and a luxurious afternoon nap, seem to be the most common denominator in my tired world.

I would have dug up the infamous "U.R.love idea", but I hated that idea, wreaaly wreally bad. I swore I would never be one of those. Whiners I mean. Wimpy whiners who was amoungst many who were witnesses to the weraltionship.

Just be aware, that as [world] once exclaimed, the longest "halfbakery piss-up", has pissed down.

I will delete this the next time I have access to a computer. (July 2008?. Or a mod can do it).

Damnit. Now I gotta cry about that. Her velvet hammer, chopping off the shit ideas from the stupid ones. What a very long and strange ride this has been.

Blessed be to all those that being blessed makes them feel, well...blessed I guess guess.
blissmiss, Nov 03 2006

And then they are real again...

       Oh, [blissy]. Hug from me.
moomintroll, Nov 03 2006

Hey Moom, I have not seen those illustrations before, that are posted on your profile page.

Why don't you become an illustrator here?

THAT'S WHAT IS MISSING HERE. BOTH OF OUR MOST INFAMOUS ILLUSTRATORS!
blissmiss, Nov 03 2006

Why thank you [bliss]! That's very sweet of you. You know I never forgave you for deleting that idea with the decorated neck brace ;)

       Feel free.

For several years another baker and I were one and the same. Also known as in love.

We are no longer, and he does not visit here often, but folks will continue, for a while, to link us together.

It hurts to see us as a couple here, when we are not a couple here. It was a sad parting, and since he no longer posts here, I felt the need to let people know, and then I will delete.

I don't do multiply, or any of the other outlets, jutta, or I would have just gone there. I don't believe he does either.

(It's simply a clarification. With a big smiley happy faced tear.)

//multiply// C'mon bliss, you've got a bit of space there, lots of friends too.

       <sadness ensues>

       :( sad face

I don't want you to leave too.

It seems the halfbakery is drifting apart.
DesertFox, Nov 06 2006

       Change "IS" the only constant.

//I don't want you to leave too.
It seems the halfbakery is drifting apart//

Really? People come and go all the time from the Halfbakery. Sometimes people even go and then come back later.
hippo, Nov 06 2006

       //Change "IS" the only constant//

       Er... no it's not:

       Avogadro's No. = 6.02 x 10^23,
c = 299,792,458m/s, and
ec = (-)1.60217733 x 10^-19

       To name but a few.
Jinbish, Nov 06 2006

Pi is another one. And Phi too. Though I doubt these values are constant for non Euclidian geometries.
zen_tom, Nov 06 2006

       - and don't forget, there's a school of thought in contemporary cosmology which holds that alpha, the "fine-structure constant" which governs how light and electrons interact, and mu, the ratio of the proton's mass to that of the electron, (the proton's mass is 1836 times that of the electron) have changed very slightly over the last 12 billion years.
hippo, Nov 06 2006

Damn those crazy reformists. Can't they leave well enough alone!
Jinbish, Nov 06 2006

Well, I, for one, welcome our new, larger proton. (Or is it smaller?)
angel, Nov 06 2006

But if Pi is infinite then it never stops getting larger and is therefore changing as we speak.

As for those other non changing things I've never heard of, well, I really think I should have been consulted before such laws were passed.

Muchos besos, [blissy]. La vida sigue aunque nosotros sólo veamos sus contrastes. Un abrazo, también.

I was going to say that the annos seems to have gotten off topic here when I suddenly realized that was no real topic. I mean, there was a real topic, I think, then, poof, it wasn't real anymore. It made me sad.
NotTheSharpestSpoon, Nov 07 2006

1836? I've always used 1840. Maybe I'm 12 billion years behind the times.

I am moving in the morn. This is the last night that I will have listened to the halfbakery, and shared my thoughts, for almost 6 or so years. Most with waugs, and some prior to him.

I am moving with my little kittlegirl, Claire, and I am forced to leave dustin behind. My god, dustin has been more a part of my input on this site, then me.

I am going to probably change usernames, and it will definately be a different pc.

I think I would just like to warn men that are in a domestic partnership, that if they think just being "really good friends", with another female, that choses to let you know what and what not, you have done for a month, or a year, or two, that they probably shouldn't call them a "cunt" at the same time. It hurts.

Well she won, but everything in my world has sunk. Okay, they didn't have sex, or so they said, but I still trust people; I trust and love, to not lift up the curtain and show the man behind the crap.

All those who have ever said he was cruel, mean, ugly, bastard, buggar, etc. before, were wrong. You missed "mindless pig", when it comes to other humans.

That's it. jutta, I did not want to use your site as an ashtray, I am sorry, there were so many warnings, yet when I love, obviously, I can only do it head on. I was warned, and warned. And I still thought I could make him kind.

       Ouch.
blissmiss, Nov 11 2006

       Ouch indeed :(
skinflaps, Nov 11 2006

bliss - I worked through a very painful period of a relationship break up by writing a series of ideas that referred to it both directly and tangentially, and put them here with the indulgence of Jutta and all those who read them, voted on them and commented on them. I also made several pieces of art work, not shown here. I received many messages of support and thank all those who sent them. I share your pain for a different reason. Feel free to email me any time.
xenzag, Nov 11 2006

hey, bliss, you change user name and you'll be in big deep trouble...

hey honey where would pooey be without blissmiss?

btw I love you and you know it!
po, Nov 11 2006

Hi blissmiss. I've never met you but I'm sorry about what you're going through.
pigtails_and_ponies, Nov 11 2006

Hell's teeth, I just saw this... What's... erm Eh? Is there someone I can hug?

Blissmiss, I'm not sure I get it, I'm slow and cumbersome at these things, but you really do have a lot of support from all here, and you should take them seriously - Take a more days and talk to lots of people here before making any decisions.
Dub, Nov 12 2006

To end this, we have both moved on. Me without dustin, because trying to find a place to live with 2 cats brings to mind, "3 cats mad, or was it 20?"

I loved that idea, it was the second idea I ever read on the bakery. "I work with idiots" from the halfbakery, was an MSN site of the day, and that was the day I began reading.

The only person that responded to anything I wrote was !%. She let me in.

So for all those who feel left out, or feel like they have been ignored, there are few but po, and several others that will welcome you. For many of us, we have gone through deaths, departures, and just MIA's. (those are the worst), and come out an even closer community. If sometimes you feel ignored, just remember, some of us have gone full circle.

When I began, there were hours between posts, sometimes days. Pottedstu was the only other person on the same EST time as me. Waugs, bubba, and our blessed bris were the night crew. Po was the grand marshall of the weekends.

Oh well, I just mean to say that meeting a man here, who was so smart, and so sensitive, was all an illusion. Just like a thunderstorm in November, or the thought that bris is gone, or the thought that maybe 1% is only 1/2% are the things that make life intriquing, and tormenting.

I hope all those that have entered these doors are wiling to accerpt the friendships, and the pain, the joy, and the frustration, and have had the ability to grow, as I have, from jutta's ability to cut through the crap. Blessed be.

:) Good decision, Bliss (ta po) -
Dub, Nov 18 2006

Oddly enough, or ironically enough, this is the first year since I moved to CT. 20 years ago, that I did not see one heron.

Considering waugs and I used to spend weekends searching them out, I find it somehow symbolic.

But then I think seeing a spider, no matter what size or type, means you are gonna die a sudden and tortous death that day. Go figure.
blissmiss, Nov 18 2006

hey, I saw a heron on wandsworth common - is must be yours!
po, Nov 18 2006

I like spiders, as long as they don't have certain markings. I thought it was the black butterfly or moth that came to tell you good bye as a messenger for someone you knew that was the insect to worry about.

I'm glad to still see you here.
