We have novelty-sized cheques, so why not very big
bank notes?
These would be limited edition releases by the local
mint, with the usual mark-up associated with special
editions such as those used to celebrate sporting
events.
Turn up to your local charity auction, and start
waving
around
some seriously big bids. Poster-sized notes
that make a great photo opportunity at a 21st
birthday
or other special occasion.
NB: not suitable for surreptitious bribes.

There was an artist in England decades ago who did huge detailed paintings of banknotes. He would offer them in lieu of payment at shops (they were worth a lot more than face value). He got into some legal trouble. |
