Those new big screen TVs are fine as far as they go. Which is not far enough. Bigger is better. I propose that if large screen high resolution TVs were made without frames such that the picture extends to the edge of the machine, several units could be mounted flush to one another in rectangular blocks.
Software could make the picture spread across the 4 screens so that the group functions as 1. Enormous screens would be possible. You could see stuff blow up real good. Real good.

Why not just get a projector? |

Google is your friend (though not in this case): there are several companies selling multiple-LCD screens with almost-zero framing. |

/Why not just get a projector?/
Someone always wants to hold up rabbit ears, shadow grope the actresses, release a jar of moths. You know how it goes. Then you get a rear screen projector and you have to knock down a wall to make room. No, many large screens is the only answer. |

You don't need a giant screen. Just a projector, and a handy guide book called "Be more careful about who you allow into your home". |
