As a person with fillings in nearly all of my teeth despite all efforts to prevent it, I am looking for something better then a ******* toothbrush, and more fun and convenient too. I was wondering if it would be feasible to have some kind of continuous tooth care device that you could wear at night or
at home while relaxing.
It would be a plastic crescent-shaped thingy that would fit over the teeth and form a wet seal with the gum line. Once on, tubes leading out of the device would suction the thing gently onto the teeth. At that point, water would surf a tube out of a tank into the toothy thingy and then drain out through another tube. Toothpaste, mouthwash, and other good schtuff like that could be sent in and out of it. Little roto-brush head thingies would clean your teeth. This wouldn't necessarily preclude brushing or remove the need for flossing, but it might do something.
Come to think of it, this reminds me of one of the codpiece ideas...

The night the inanimate croissant:
"wet seal with the gum line" was given.
"codpiece" was taken away. |

Thorough brushing before bed should suffice. Unless you eat in your sleep. |

<obligatory misreading> I misread this as "Night of the
intimate dentist" - which is almost a better description of
the idea... </obligatory misreading> |

"fillings in nearly all of my teeth" - if "all efforts" include brushing after every meal, have you considered changing your diet? My need for new fillings went way down after I cut out candy. |
