Realistic goals which can be achived should be websited for other people in the similar area to know that what heights can be achieved.

Also the exact shape and size of the dream would be good, better you can describe the dream, better chances of your gaining it.

Have others refine your dream to be more likely making it realistic, help you in making plans, suggesting variety of sources.

Update: No, it's not the dreams while you sleep. It's about going in your real life from step A to step B.

Update2: for [Rods Tigers] No I didn't miss 'r' there..

Update3: The idea is that people will be there for each other to help building realistic goals and guiding/drawing them in the right direction. Often we see many mis-generated ideas and resulting action because of it. The site can help to make the world a better place however small the corner in.

You can browse othe peoples dreams to really see what is possible and achivable. It can promote confidence and better sense of reality and how to handle it to get to your advantage. The pros and cons of your dreams as voted by others can be helpful to have a better view of the world at any stage of the life.

Especially contribution from w the people who are able to convert positive ideas into reality can do good to lots of people.

Heights achieved. http://www.superdoo...sonalstatement.html
I know this sets a pretty high bar. You may want to just take the top or bottom half and try for that. Or maybe just a few choice lines. [bungston, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 06 2004]

// exact shape and size of the dream //

My dream is a large glazed toroid of exactly 5 cubic meters in volume. And large milk, to go.

How does this dream site differ from the halfbakery? Or does the fact that my dreams = fully baked devices indicate that I spend way too much time here?

//Unfortunately I started with the old 'I've been a lifelong fan of yours...' etc, which I can't remember ever having gushed in reality no matter how famous a person I'd met.//

That's because you haven't met *me* yet.

//have others refine your dream to be more likely//

May I refine this dream to be a standard blog with an e-mail address listed. this way you can tell people your dreams, aspirations and goals, and they can tell you what they think. Oh, that's baked, you say? well, that just proves how achievable it is.

I like this, but I want selectivity upon who reads my dream. There's little out there as damaging as taking the advice of the common public.

Isn't this what reunions are all about? So you can see people with backgrounds similar to yours, note what they have achieved, and better appreciate what you could have become?
