Movie Ball

 a ball with articulations that turn into a movie under fluorescent light

This ball had crenelations or bumps all over it, designed in patterns so that when the ball spins under strobe light or fluorescent light, at least pretty patterns will be apparent. Maybe you could design it like a zoetrope. Its like a 3D zoetrope.
