Mousercise
Improve muscle tone and work at the same time. | |
Place your mouse mat on a pile of books and a cunningly arranged cushion so that it is a foot off your desk at an angle of 45 degrees or so.
As you use your mouse, its new position and angle will give muscles in your arm and shoulder a tone-improving workout.
Of course you would have to switch
arms frequently to avoid having one bulgy arm and one weedy one.
As your strength increases glue lead weights inside the mouse to increase the workout.

I'd like to give this a croissant, but I don't think it would be very effective; I don't know very many people who use their left hand for the mouse, and I don't know anybody who switches hands. |

Since most people would not change arms then I reckon it would be half effective - it must therefore be half baked. |

Like [Rods Tiger], I am a switch-hitter mouse user. Either hand is fine and when I am using two machines side-by-side (which is often) I mouse with the left hand on the left-side machine and vice versa. |

Of course, this would give me an advantage in that both of my arms would become perfectly toned, and likely win arm-tone awards, if I were to use your proposed meeses. |

Also like Rods I use both left and right mouse movement,
but I don't really think raising the mouse would help
muscles, but certainly cause muscular pain. |

My mouse weighs bugger all, but if its in any unnatural position (say higher or lower than it should be) and I get RSI. |

I like the idea of a 50lb mouse but I think it would be more accurate to call it a capybara. These apparently weigh up to 100lb. |

Alternatively, one of the largest rodents ever was castoroides ohioensis or the giant beaver. It was the size of a bear although is now extinct. Imagine pushing a giant beaver round your desk. |
