This idea of mine has been floating around in my head for the longest time, but now since Sprite came out with a mint product, I thought anything is possible. All it is is chocolate milk with mint flavoring added to it and, voila, instant hit with all generations.

Kinda surprises me that this doesn't exist already - they have "Aero" bar flavoured milk, and "Coffee Crisp" flavoured... why not "Mint Aero"? That'd be pretty tasty, I think. I'll give a croissant to go with the Mint Chocolate Milk.

I've been drinking mint chocolate milkshakes since I was lower than a rattlesnake's bellybutton.

You can do all sorts of things with milk. People even mix it with alcoholic beverages. If this is done, I don't see why mint and milk couldn't blend together. Even if they couldn't... chocolate would help them get along. Chocolate is like God... it gives everything a reason to be.

Chocolate mint Super "M" milkshakes exist but I would prefer pure mint flavour.

I pleaded with my local dairy producer representative to make this variety about ten years ago they still haven't. I do however suck up milk through a peppermint crisp (only seen them in South Africa) with both ends bitten off, nice minty milk - it is really good.

Mint flavor is too pervasive. While mint ice cream is a delicious anomaly, I have tasted many a brownie that has been spoiled by the addition of mint icing. If there is any subtle flavor (e.g. the creamy taste of milk) for mint to destroy, then it will seek it out and destroy it.

You will be left with cholesterol-rich cough medicine.

I'm sure I had a minty chocolate drink in my youth. I can remember the taste, but not where or when.

Cadburys do a line of chocolate drinks called Options. There is a mint flavour and its low fat

Pura milk did a mint chocolate milk in a bottle, it totally kicked ass I used to live on the stuff but they stopped making it, baked none the less.

       milk + mint = BLEEEURRRGGHHH!!!!

Ever had a glass of milk just after brushing your teeth? It's like drinking mouthwash that's been thickened with cornflour and snot.

Mint and chocolate is a highly overrated taste experience in my humble etc etc etc.

Mint is meant to go with succulent lamb and chocolate is meant to go with Glenlivet malt whisky, among other things. Honest - try a bite of 70% cocoa solids dark chocolate followed by a mouthful of Glenlivet and you will all at once know what it was to dine on nectar and ambrosia with Olympian immortals. Plus you get to gorge on chocolate and get drunk at the same time.

Mixing three nice things together does not make for triple loveliness. The more delicious things - usually, but not exclusively, more than two - you mix together, the worse the end product will taste. This is Lemon Tetra's first rule of deliciousism.

A notable exception to the "more than two" bit of the rule is the crunchy peanut butter, strong cheddar and lip-searing chilli sauce sandwich. It's crucial that you get the proportions right in this one, but it's worth a few "hooo, hoooo, hooo, thassrillyfugginhot!!!!" moments to get it right.
