To live viewers, it is a soccer match with Gladiator-style padded walls that move across the field, random obstacles, and tennis balls shot at them by buff muscleheads. Each of these added elements would be filtered out, selectively, to the TV audience.
To the TV viewers, this would appear to be
an ordinary soccer field, with an ordinary game where the laws of physics seem to have been altered and invisible ghosts are messing with the game.
