       Ummm, I thought that spies were supposed to be relatively non-obvious. If they aren't noticed, then they can do their thing without being caught and subjected to interrogation. Alas, mimes are usually very notice-able...

       I've always wondered by spies aren't simply medically muted. Aside from ethical objections (which could be mitigated by the fact that only the willing undergo the procedure), you could guarantee these agents will never talk.
