Sometimes, when I wake up in the middle of the night, I am hungry, but too tired to get up to get food.

Hence edible pillows.

These pillows contain a hollow pouch inside, made of a good insulator and an electrical heat-remover. You get ready for bed, plug in your pillow (for cold snacks), and put in the snack of your choice.

You fall asleep.

Later on, you wake up, starving, but too tired to get out of bed, knowing it will take an hour to fall asleep again. You look at your pillow.

Oh!

You open the secret pouch, extract the snack of your choice, eat it, and fall asleep happily.

What if I fancied a pigs trotter and forgot that it was there? mind you the lump in my pillow might remind me to remove and scoff it.

Don't forget to pillow brush after meals.

...when I woke up, the pillow was gone.

Combined with my coffeemaker alarm clock you could have breakfast in bed without ever leaving your bed to fix breakfast.
Machiavelli, Feb 01 2005

Or you could simply pack a snack in your cheeks before bed, like normal people do.

Pig in a blanket, or chicken in a pillow?
jaksplat, Feb 02 2005

No peas. They'll keep you awake, especially if you're a princess.

A pillow full of marshmallows would be cute.

There's Jones, he always brings his pillow to work, and at lunch he sits in the cafeteria with his face in it until the end of the break. Talk about anti social.

Haha! The original name was edible pillows, and I was going to make an edible pillow, but it got changed. I could still do an edible pillow, I guess, but not now.
