Incidentally, why isn't "spacecraft" another word for "interior design"?

Microwave End Rotate at Start

The best orientation to get your food out is where it was put in.

A microwave oven that stops the rotation at the same position it started.

Either: Change the rotation speed or preferably, prolong the rotation past the cooking time as necessary ( during the finishing beeping ?).

The microwave could add a position sensor or assume a motor speed. The second option would necessitate involving a method for modifying the setting during initial operation of the microwave or during a later tuning operation.

       Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I've seen or commented on a single one of your postings even once, though you've been here almost as long as me.

       Weird no?...

       //10 seconds//
Hmm... in my experience, it's always been 12 seconds.
But yes, "boomerang" turntables have been around since at least the 1990's.

       //Just time how long it takes your turntable to spin once//

       This! You're microwave will have a motor driven by the 50/60Hz motor, this will then be geared at some ratio. My home microwave I set in multiples of 8 seconds, the one at work 12 seconds.

       //50/60Hz motor//
[bs0u0155]; why didn't I think of that? Explains the 10 seconds in (presumably) USA, but 12 seconds for me in New Zealand. Same tech, different frequency driving it.
