Two related ideas condensed into one space that I had while reading microelectromechanical velcro.

1. Use the MEM velcro as a 'grayscale' digital display face for a standard-sized timepiece.

2. Microelectromechanical cukoo clock gearing, face, and hands, all weight-driven. Or is that contraband nanotech? A 1:1 scale drawing can be found at the end of this sentence.
