Not at all like a mice-raft that mariners are encouraged to learn how to build.

Mice the tree-mouse to get wood-mice. Craft the wood-mice into stick-mice. Add stone-mice and craft a mouse-axe to more quickly mice tree-mice. Scurry about avoiding spider-mice and see if you can survive long enough to find a vein of gold-mice.

Mice mice mice mice Micecraft!

You do realize that the first part of the original name is, nowadays, a synonym for "pwned"?
Vernon, May 28 2014

Pwned is one of the few words I can think of which made the jump from Welsh to English in modern times. My subscription to the OWD is not paid up, so I cannot see what its original meaning was.

It occurs to me that despite English's promiscuous interest in exotic foreign words with many consonants, the girl next door has not been much appreciated.

"Then wasn't it a little foolhardy, trying to sell him a nonexistent mine?"

       "Mine??"

"Yes, mine. That's your game, isn't it? Mines!"

"If mine's mines, then what's yours, eh?"
the porpoise, May 28 2014

       "Mine's a pint, cheers."

Well, if you could get GE interested in the manufacturing you'd have a GE Meinschaft.

Well, somebody had to say it.

pocmloc, May 29 2014

[bungston], it is generally thought that "pwned" originated as a typo, and because the typo was so blatant, it became famous. See that letter "o" on the keyboard next to the "p"?
Vernon, May 29 2014

I've called it "I'm daft" when complaining to my daughter about overuse. However, she lays claim to building a virtual library and publishing a short book in it, which kind of blew my mind away.
