"This is a government announcement: Starting immediately all governments of the world will work exclusively to acheive peace, the end of disease and the end of hunger. And any other things plaguing the happiness of humanity.

Co-inciding with this work all buildings in all cities around the world will have pnumatic lifts fitted to their foundations, enabling them to be lifted to 50% of their height.

Once the announcement of world peace etc. is announced there will be a mexican wave of all buildings spread around the world."

Imagine the excitement of a Mexican wave using high rise buildings! Think how cool it would be to be on the 31st floor of a building that suddenly shoots 15 1/2 floors in to the air!

This system could also enable the Earth to dodge incoming Global Event meteors if all the buildings on one side "jumped" at the same time moving us in our orbit...

\\Once the announcement of world peace etc. is announced \\ WIBNI

\\Think how cool it would be to be on the 31st floor of a building that suddenly shoots 15 1/2 floors in to the air!\\ And then probably collapses. Also, how high is half a floor?

\\This system could also enable the Earth to dodge incoming Global Event meteors\\ Not so much.

This could have potential should all buildings be topped with gigantic sombreros.
